Partner João Paulo da Silveira Ribeiro, in the figure of Chairman of the OAB/RJ Public Administration Works, Concessions and Control Commission, was appointed by the Chairman of the Brazilian Bar Association, Luciano Bandeira, member of the Permanent Forum for Strategic Development of the State of Rio de Janeiro.

The Forum, created in 2003 and currently composed of 57 institutions, is an initiative of the Legislative Assembly of the State of Rio de Janeiro (“ALERJ”) whose purpose is to connect initiatives, promote debates and create a common agenda that brings together academy, organized civil society and the parliament of Rio de Janeiro.

From the permanent debates in ALERJ’s sectorial chambers and Plenary, in which the most recent studies carried out by the institutions that compose it and by the state government are presented, models of good practices, proposals to reduce bureaucracy and to amend the state legislation emerge.
